Architectural conservation to historic buildings is approached through mature intervention, cherishing the existing building. Identifying the new, and/or preserving the properties of the old where appropriate, appreciating time.
Works to historic/listed buildings is a field that requires extensive knowledge and experience. With experience of working on many historic schemes throughout Cornwall supported by an MA in Architectural Conservation, full architects services are provided to the individual or commercial client, to include:
• Conversion / re-use.
• Restoration / preservation.
• Alterations.
• Extensions.
• Project management, to ensure the works are carried out to the appropriate methods and standards, while managing the program and budget.
• Liaison with consulting bodies, i.e. English Heritage, local authority conservation dept.
